Andrew Jackson

I've grown up here locally on Mercer Island, a suburb just 2 miles of downtown Seattle, and on most weekends in the small town of Roslyn in the foothills of the east side of the Cascade Mountains. Having a childhood that was split between these two very different lifestyles, I developed a love of both city and rural ways of living. In the city you have the excitement and energy that only the city offers, with some of the most spectacular restaurants, shops, theaters and people just outside of my front door. However the natural beauty of the outdoors, and the peace and serenity it can bring to ones soul draws me back to recharge my internal batteries. That is why today, I choose to live in an urban setting on First Hill and, when I need to recharge you can still find me over in Roslyn playing like a kid and enjoying the outdoors.

Real Estate held a fascination early on for me. I remember going to look at houses with my family as a child and being fascinated by the process of creating a lifestyle. After High School I attended the University of Las Vegas and Central Washington University and found my way right back to Seattle (home). After living on Capitol Hill for sometime, I bought a house in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle. While it was a great house and pleasant neighborhood, I made a conscious choice to transition to a more urban lifestyle. I found condominium living more suitable to my lifestyle. Now I live in a great 1930's high-rise on First Hill; a special place that parallels my lifestyle.

For me, Real Estate is about people. The reason I left corporate America for Real Estate is that I wanted to work with people to help improve the quality of their lives. In this industry I get to meet and work with some amazing individuals. It is my intention with every part of my life and career to do what is right for my client. To share my knowledge, expertise and challenge others to make powerful informed choices for themselves in Real Estate. Unlike the environment of most corporations, the buck stops with me. There is no one to go to for approval; I get to put my clients and their needs first. The quality of the Real Estate industry is also at the for-front of my mission. Over the last several years, I have been working with a group of extraordinary and talented agents with Windermere Real Estate on the Standards of Practice committee. Here I get to contribute to the professionalism and standards that Windermere Real Estate has become known for.

I would like to thank all of those of you that have worked with Keith and I over the years. It is because of your generosity, and sharing with others about your experience with us, that we are able to continue on our mission of assisting others with their Real Estate needs. It has been an honor to be chosen to work on your behalf, and further more of an honor when you tell your friends about us, and they choose to work with us as well. It is this honor that makes each day, so wonderful and exciting for me. I thank you for what you have contributed to my life.
